About The Position

Galaxy Digital is hiring a Digital Infrastructure Intern for its nine-week 2027 NYC Summer Internship Program. The internship takes place on-site at Galaxy’s New York City headquarters from June 7 through August 6, 2027. Interns gain practical experience on the Digital Infrastructure team, contribute to real products and problems, and participate in professional development, social events, and networking with senior leaders. The intern will develop technical and strategic knowledge of blockchain infrastructure and on-chain protocols, including staking, DeFi, and tokenization. They will work across Galaxy’s infrastructure business with the Staking, DeFi, Tokenization, Edge, and GK8 teams, and own a scoped project from start to finish, presenting results at the end of the summer. The role also supports the development of a blockchain infrastructure operating business and its product suite, including research, product proposals, and use of data and AI-assisted tools for research, analysis, and prototyping.

Requirements

Undergraduate or master’s student graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
Eligible master’s students must have fewer than two years of relevant full-time work experience.
Interest in and knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Critical thinking skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Strong emotional intelligence and comfort communicating with others.
Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.
Self-directed, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative workflow.
Comfort working across multiple workstreams and teams in a whitespace environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated interest in building on-chain personal projects in areas such as DeFi, Prop AMMs, institutional custody, tokenization, staking, validators, or node infrastructure.
Students enrolled in PhD or JD programs are not eligible to apply.

Nice To Haves

Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, economics, or engineering.
Strong understanding of AI and agentic workflows.
Smart contract proficiency, such as Solidity or Rust.
Data analysis skills, including Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

Build technical and strategic expertise in blockchain infrastructure and on-chain protocols, including staking, DeFi, and tokenization.
Work across Galaxy’s infrastructure business with the Staking, DeFi, Tokenization, Edge, and GK8 teams.
Own a scoped Digital Infrastructure project from start to finish and present its results to the team at the end of the summer.
Support development of a blockchain infrastructure-focused operating business and product suite, with an emphasis on new products and processes.
Use data and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate research, analysis, and prototyping.
Conduct and summarize core research findings and propose new product suites.
