About The Position

The Research Intern role within Connor Whole Health offers a unique chance to become part of a dynamic, collaborative interdisciplinary team. This position adds value to patient care and assists the research department. We currently offer an opportunity for a PRN, days Intern to help support research efforts for our integrative medicine patients in Northeast Ohio.

• Sophisticated interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive information and to interact at all levels of the organization (Required proficiency)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize (Required proficiency)
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively when concerns arise (Required proficiency)
• Proven written, research, analytical and oral communication skills (Required proficiency)
• High degree of technical proficiency on Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed (Required proficiency)

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience handling research responsibilities.
• Experience conducting data analysis using platforms such as R or SPSS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the research assistant for research projects and initiatives throughout the assigned department.
• Recruit and/or interview study subjects
• Travel to different locations to collect data as needed
• Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
• Manage and reply to project-related correspondence
• Provide flexible administrative support as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
