About The Position

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a highly motivated student for a Research Intern position focused on Generative AI (Diffusion Models) in medical imaging. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States OR Has graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her exchange visitor program start date.
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras.
• Familiarity with image processing in Python and C++.
• Hands-on coding skills and ability to quickly prototype in Python.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Current graduate students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines for research interns.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement algorithms for solving inverse problems in medical imaging (image acquisition, image denoising, image super-resolution, image reconstruction etc.) using Generative AI (Diffusion Models).
• Advance the state-of-the-art, including generating patents and top publications.
• Work on large-scale, real-world problems, be entrepreneurial in an environment that’s more startup than big company.
