The Research II interventionist will work with Dr. Lyons and the Cancer Rehabilitation (CaRe) Lab research team on an NIH-funded, multi-site study testing a telehealth intervention to maximize functional recovery after breast cancer treatment. The role involves delivering individual intervention sessions and following the study protocol. Intervention components include cancer survivorship education, goal-setting, problem-solving, and priority elicitation. Participants may choose telephone or videoconference sessions, and interventionists document session timing and content in a study REDCap database. The project manager assigns participants based on their preferences for session timing and interventionist availability. Flexible hours are preferred to accommodate participant needs. The position is designed for remote work and requires access to a private space for sessions. Training is provided after hire and continues as new tasks arise. The role is particularly suited to an occupational therapist, nurse, or other clinical specialist interested in gaining research experience.
