About The Position

This job supports the physician or scientist’s efforts through investigating scientific and medical questions, collecting and organizing data, preparing abstracts, presentations & manuscripts, disseminating and publishing research results, and collaborating with and training other team members. Engages in clinical or laboratory research experiments, maintains impeccable records, provides copies to leadership, and reports any suspected research irregularities. Thinks independently, troubleshoots technical problems, and understands his/her experiments. Reads scientific literature and demonstrates an intellectual interest in the biomedical research projects.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (MD, DO, or PhD in a health related science)
  • Basic knowledge of biomedical research processes
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good deductive and inductive reasoning skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical problems
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Ability to define project objectives, identify stakeholders, plan steps, and allocate resources to achieve objectives in a resourceful manner
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement

  • Remaining knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensuring compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
