About The Position

The Research Fellow in the Civil Rights Enforcement Bureau will conduct research tasks that would otherwise fall to attorneys, thereby freeing up additional capacity that could be devoted to investigating and resolving cases. The fellow will engage in pre-complaint interventions, investigations, and file complaints where appropriate. The candidate will also conduct research on claims of discrimination made by members of the public and patterns of discrimination. Lastly, the candidate will collaborate with other units of CCHR to engage in coordinated approaches to rooting out systemic discrimination.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above
