The Workforce Intelligence Lab (WIL) is an applied workforce research initiative focused on construction labor markets, workforce planning systems, compensation intelligence, labor scarcity analysis, and operational workforce visibility. WIL develops workforce intelligence frameworks and regional labor market analysis for operational decision-making across the construction industry. The lab synthesizes publicly available labor data, compensation trends, contractor growth indicators, workforce demand signals, and construction activity into workforce intelligence systems for construction firms and industry operators. This opportunity is contingent upon grant or sponsored-project award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal or funding package. WIL is seeking Research Fellows interested in applied workforce research, labor market analysis, workforce analytics, and operational workforce intelligence focused on the construction industry. This fellowship is for graduate students, PhD candidates, early-career researchers, analysts, and analytically oriented professionals interested in workforce systems, labor market visibility, compensation analysis, and operational workforce planning. Research Fellows contribute to labor market analysis, workforce analytics, compensation benchmarking, workforce planning systems, labor scarcity indicators, workforce intelligence methodologies, operational workforce visibility, dashboard validation, and regional workforce intelligence reporting. The current fellowship shape is flexible and remote, structured around approximately 3–5 hours per week. Full-time employment or a larger project-based contract may be scoped when an award calls for it.
