The research focuses on developing biomaterial solutions and nanoparticulate drug delivery systems to promote fracture healing and bone regeneration. The fellow will also support dental product evaluation research by developing and carrying out evaluation methods for dental products. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in bone mechanics, nanoparticle synthesis, 3D printing, and oral care product evaluation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (M.S.) and at least 3 years of broad experience encompassing bone mechanobiology, nanoparticulate drug delivery, and standard protocol establishment.
  • Hands-on experience in tissue engineering, including bone mechanical testing and animal handling.
  • Expertise in nanoparticle design and synthesis for drug delivery systems.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as histology and microCT, and experience operating mechanical testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing processes and CAD/CAM software.
  • Experience or strong interest in clinical dental applications, particularly developing evaluation methods and test protocols for dental products.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
