The Mondello lab is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow with 2-3 years of prior wet lab experience in a relevant biomedical field such as molecular biology, immunology, and/or genomics. The lab's research focuses on epigenetic dysregulations in B cell malignancy and their impact on the tumor microenvironment. Utilizing genomic, epigenomic, and transcriptomic profiling of patient samples and lymphoma cell lines, alongside genetically modified mouse models, the lab aims to identify and functionally characterize genetic lesions affecting chromatin modifiers and transcription factors. The research will determine the role of these alterations in modulating tumor-immune crosstalk and ultimately inform the development of therapeutic strategies. The fellow will be expected to perform bench work including viral transfection, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, western blotting, and mouse work such as immunization, transplant, genotyping, and colony maintenance. While prior experience in these techniques is expected, additional training will be provided. This position requires the applicant to work on site.
