About The Position

Under the direct supervision of a manager or director, and according to established policies and procedures, the Research Data Analyst performs data analysis related to clinical research information system programs, projects, and trials, including associated ancillary applications. The position provides training on systems related to research and ensures the data integrity of those systems. It also analyzes data within clinical trials management applications, develops and analyzes reports, and performs data analyst workflow analysis and support. The analyst interacts directly with assigned department managers and senior-level staff to provide data analysis. The role participates in department and hospital task forces, focus groups, and/or committees as assigned by the supervisor to meet group objectives. The position employs intermediate analytical and technical evaluative processes, along with managerial and interpersonal perspectives, and performs duties in accordance with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, health care, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare, a Clinical Trial Management System, eRegulatory, and an Electronic Medical Record.
