About The Position

Under the direct supervision of a manager or director, and according to established policies and procedures, the Research Data Analyst performs data analysis related to clinical research information system programs, projects, and trials, including associated ancillary applications. The position provides training on systems related to research and ensures data integrity across those systems. It also supports data analysis within clinical trials management applications, develops and analyzes reports, and performs data analyst workflow analysis and support. The analyst interacts directly with assigned department managers and senior-level staff to provide data analysis, and participates in department and hospital task forces, focus groups, and committees as assigned. The role uses intermediate analytical and technical evaluative processes, along with managerial and interpersonal perspectives. Job duties must be performed in accordance with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Health Care, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare, Clinical Trial Management System, eRegulatory, and Electronic Medical Record.
• Intermediate analytical and technical evaluative capabilities, as referenced in the role description.
