About The Position

Under general supervision of the Executive Director of Clinical Research, the Clinical Research Education Specialist designs, plans, and manages employee onboarding, education projects, and formal training programs. The role oversees assigned Clinical Research education activities and follows established policies, procedures, professional guidelines, adult learning principles, and evidence-based practice to align education goals with Tampa General Hospital’s business needs and strategies. The specialist designs learning, delivers training, facilitates organizational change, measures and evaluates education impact, and contributes to performance improvement as measured by objective outcomes. The position also participates in managing the learning function, staff coaching, career planning, talent management, and organizational knowledge. It leads programs or workgroups and provides internal organizational development consulting. The employee performs duties in accordance with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Three years of related experience in Clinical Research.
