About The Position

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a Research Coordinator to join the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience. This position is on-site in Colorado Springs, a city known for its natural beauty and growing tech scene. The Research Coordinator will work on a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project evaluating a brief telehealth intervention aimed at preventing PTSD in sexual minority individuals who have experienced bias violence. The role involves day-to-day research and clinical trials management, data management, assisting with study advertising, organizing advisory board meetings, conducting eligibility and exit interviews, and serving as a program facilitator. This is a two-year NSF-funded position.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience as a project coordinator.
  • Must have experience as a project coordinator.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with experience delivering psychoeducational interventions are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination and administrative support to the principal investigator (PI) for the project.
  • Maintain open communication with the PI.
  • Attend regular team meetings.
  • Schedule meetings and keep meeting records.
  • Track milestones for the project.
  • Assist with study advertising and participant recruitment.
  • Track participants through the clinical trial including session attendance, reminders, and survey and EMA data completion.
  • Coordinate participant reimbursements and track compensation, including gift card distribution.
  • Supervise research assistants and program facilitators.
  • Conduct session fidelity checks.
  • Assist with the preparation of research compliance forms and reports.
  • Screen participants for eligibility.
  • Assist in literature reviews and manuscript writing/editing.
  • Data management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
