About The Position

The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) is seeking a full-time, contract (1-year) Research Coordinator. Working under the supervision of the section lead/senior scientist for the Health Outcomes and Performance Evaluation (HOPE) section, the Research Coordinator will work collaboratively on various projects. This role will include working within the ICES-University of Toronto satellite site. They will contribute significantly to the monitoring of the project work plan and achievement of key deliverables, contribute significantly to the development of dataset creation and analysis plans, and will assume responsibility for all aspects of the data analysis for a research project. Other duties and responsibilities include: developing SAS programs to extract and merge data from existing ICES databases according to dataset creation plans and following ICES standards and guidelines; preparing tables, figures and reports, and carrying out statistical analyses according to specifications of project analysis plans; completing program and project documentation according to ICES standards and guidelines; interpreting results and having direct input into any manuscripts and other deliverables; participating in ICES meetings/rounds as applicable, making contributions to ICES as requested, such as presentations, participation in working groups and/or contributions towards the development of practice guidelines/standards in their area of their organization, as required.
