About The Position

The Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute is seeking a full-time, temporary (1-year) Research Analyst to join their Addictions Division at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). This role will support applied research focused on substance use disorders treatment, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary teams and peer support. The position involves supporting original clinical research and ongoing knowledge translation and exchange activities. The Research Analyst will provide support for various project aspects, including participant recruitment, appointment scheduling and coordination, obtaining informed consent, administering research measures, tracking data collection, database maintenance, and administering participant honoraria. Additionally, the role will assist with administration, including programming online surveys, reporting to research ethics, quality assurance, and research finance and contracts. The successful candidate will be committed to respectful, ethical, and culturally-sensitive practices in research and evaluation, and will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, teamwork, and compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. Hours of work may vary to support project requirements. This position is entirely on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Support applied research with a focus on substance use disorders treatment, with a focus on multidisciplinary team and peer support.
  • Support original clinical research as well as ongoing knowledge translation and exchange activities.
  • Provide support on an as required basis for all aspects of these projects, including recruitment of research participants, scheduling and coordinating participant appointments, obtaining informed consent, administering research measures, tracking data collection and database maintenance, and administering participant honoraria.
  • Support administration, including programming online surveys, reporting to research ethics, quality assurance, and research finance and contracts.
  • Assist team members in the preparation of knowledge translation and exchange products such as oral and poster presentations, infographics, and social media communications as required.
