About The Position

To assure the Hospital and the Children's Research Institute (Research Institute), employees and Medical Staff understand and maintain the highest level of compliance with all applicable external laws and regulations and internal policies and procedures governing research activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience In order to have a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations governing research activities and standard research processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced degree (e.g., MHA, MBA, MS, or JD) is preferred
  • Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Vice President for Audit and Compliance in managing the Hospital’s and CMRI’s efforts and activities related to research compliance.
  • Perform or oversee the performance of internal investigations resulting from reported compliance concerns related to research.
  • Collaborate with the Research Administration, Office of Research Integrity, and Accounting to maintain the responsible conduct of research education program.
  • Implement and oversee appropriate auditing and monitoring activities relative to the Hospital’s research compliance efforts to assure adequate coverage of risk areas.
  • Serve as a resource to Hospital staff and administrators on issues related to compliance with research laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide supervisory oversight to the Research Compliance Coordinator.
