About The Position

We are seeking a Research Billing Specialist to perform Medicare coverage analysis and participate in ancillary service reviews, along with assisting in research study activations within HealthLink (EPIC). This role involves reviewing all charges related to clinical trials to ensure adherence to Medicare coverage rules and clinical trial contracts. The specialist will serve as the primary point of contact and technical expert for complex research billing workflows, providing ongoing updates, training, and involvement in research-related IT projects. Additionally, the position requires collaboration and building strong working relationships with clinical research departments and clinical research compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Health Care, Business, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of research billing, financial analysis, or coding experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to the experience below.
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role and Epic billing experience.
  • 1 year of research billing or research operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field.
  • Experience working in OnCore.
