In addition to supporting the general functions of the Finance Department, your day-to-day responsibilities will include overall management of finances for a variety of interesting clinical trials, while acting as liaison between clinical trial sponsors and research sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance or Accounting preferred) from an accredited university.
  • Minimum three years of experience working in a Finance/Accounting Department.
  • Applicant should be a detail-oriented and capable problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical skills to identify errors and inconsistencies.
  • Should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work as part of a team.
  • Applicant must be able to learn proprietary software quickly, be familiar with Microsoft Word, and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve sponsor research budget using critical thinking skills to ensure accuracy and consistency with budget details in BRANY’s proprietary software application
  • Generate monthly invoices to study sponsors based upon research activity entered by external research sites
  • Manage high-volume collections by conducting consistent follow-up on past due invoices through email, phone, and other communication methods
  • Compare payments received from study sponsors with internal records, and process payments to external research sites on a timely basis
  • Utilize strong analytical and investigative skills to reconcile study data and maintain accurate financial records
  • Upon completion of a study, perform a final financial reconciliation of study activities
  • Participate in other departmental projects as necessary
