Research Asst - Grad Student
About The Position
A graduate student in an institution within the Texas Tech University System employed in support of the research mission of the unit, its director or faculty, in laboratory, library, field, or computer work, or such other activities as may assist in the unit's research efforts. Laboratory support activities to facilitate the uninterrupted progress of experiments by research personnel. Assist with or perform experiments. Probe the mechanism of P-glycoprotein, a protein involved in the multidrug-resistance of cancers and involves site-directed mutagenesis, yeast transformations, drug resistance assays, membrane protein purifications and ATPase activity assays.
Requirements
- Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System.
