The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia is seeking a Research Associate for fast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) methods for brain MRI. The Computational Biomedical Imaging Group (CBIG) focuses on developing new algorithms for medical image reconstruction and post-processing, including image reconstruction, image analysis, and quantification. Research is conducted at two levels: developing mathematical tools for imaging and applied projects in collaboration with clinical researchers for MRI. This position is funded by NIH awards for high-resolution brain relaxometry and MR spectroscopic imaging using machine learning.
