About The Position
This role involves supporting the development of a tissue enhanced delivery platform and portfolio programs. The Research Associate will be responsible for processing animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction, performing MSD and PCR-based methods for bioanalytical analyses, and conducting cell-based functional assays to characterize biotherapeutics. The position also requires establishing SOPs, adapting new protocols from literature, and maintaining an electronic laboratory notebook.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry/post-bachelor’s research
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques (qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, etc.)
- Ability to independently execute experiments and analyze data
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to productively collaborate in cross-functional and matrixed teams
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with animal tissue processing
- Previous experience with ELISA or MSD assays
- Previous experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
