Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. is suitable
• Thorough familiarity with 1D and 2D NMR Spectroscopy, including the acquisition and analysis of 1D and 2D NMR spectra
• Strong lab techniques in handling air- and moisture-sensitive compounds
• Working knowledge of GC-MS and glovebox operation
• Knowledge and full adherence to lab safety regulations and practices
• Detailed lab notebook keeping

Responsibilities

• Synthesis design and lab execution of organic transformations involving structurally complex compounds
• Thorough familiarity with 1D and 2D NMR Spectroscopy, including the acquisition and analysis of 1D and 2D NMR spectra
• Strong lab techniques in handling air- and moisture-sensitive compounds; working knowledge of GC-MS and glovebox operation
• Knowledge and full adherence to lab safety regulations and practices; detailed lab notebook keeping
• Maintenance of the solvent purification system and related group equipment
• Acquisition and interpretation of Infrared and Mass Spectra
• Inventory upkeep
