About The Position

We are looking for a Research Assistant to work on a project housed in the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science. This will provide an opportunity to better understand the research process working with human participants.

Requirements

• A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science or a related health field.
• Phlebotomy certified.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in human research.
• Ability to measure blood pressure.
• Experience assessing body composition.

Responsibilities

• Help recruit potential research participants.
• Help schedule participants for data collection.
• Help collect outcome data.
• Draw and process blood.
• Help analyze data.
