The Action Institute for Outcomes Research is dedicated to advancing the understanding of treatment outcomes for children receiving behavioral early intervention services. Through rigorous outcomes research, the Institute contributes to the scientific literature and helps behavior analysts, families, and funders make informed decisions about care. Findings generated by the Institute are also used to continuously improve clinical services across Action Behavior Centers. The Research Assistant I plays a critical role in supporting the Institute's research efforts through data management, quality assurance, participant engagement, and operational support. This position is ideal for an exceptionally detail-oriented individual who enjoys investigating data, organizing large datasets, solving problems independently, and ensuring accuracy across complex systems. This role is essential to ensuring Action's research data is accurate, complete, and publication-ready, ultimately helping advance the field and improve outcomes for the families we serve. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys meticulous work. They take pride in maintaining accurate records, identifying missing information, and ensuring datasets are complete and reliable. They enjoy working independently for extended periods while collaborating effectively with others when needed. This position is not intended for someone interested in directly conducting single subject design research sessions. Instead, it is best suited for an individual interested in administrative research operations, data quality, systems management, and supporting the publication of meaningful treatment outcomes research through administrative tasks.
