Temp Research Assistant-Dr. Neubert
About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position for a non-UND student. The Research Assistant will design and build equipment for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and other robotic assets. The position is classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime, with an expected workload of 5–20 hours per week. It is not remote and does not offer hybrid work availability. Applicants must complete a criminal history background check and verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship for continued employment is not supported. Requirements
- Experience in programming, including Python and C++.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CREO or SolidWorks.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
Responsibilities
- Design and build UAVs, UGVs, and other robotic assets.
- Design and build various equipment and fixturing.
- Complete other duties when needed.
