About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited, non-UND student position. The Research Assistant will design and build equipment for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and other robotic assets. The role is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime. It offers 5–20 hours per week, with no remote or hybrid work availability stated. Applicants must complete a Criminal History Background Check. Hired candidates must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form. Requirements
- Experience in programming, including Python and C++.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CREO or SolidWorks.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design and build UAVs, UGVs, and other robotic assets.
- Design and build various equipment and fixturing.
- Complete other duties when needed.
