About The Position

Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Assistant that will be working with simulations, experiments, and instrumentation for noninvasive fetal health monitoring. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
1-3 years of Data collection and analysis experience
1-3 years of Research, Lab and Methodology Experience
Successful background check

Responsibilities

Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.
May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
Performs research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Research and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
Uses a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.
