About The Position
The Extension Veterinarian and Research Team seeks to hire part-time research assistants. This is a part-time position and a successful candidate will help the Barragan lab with the field and laboratory work of research studies related to transition cow health and farm personnel training.
Requirements
- Must be a current Penn State student (not employed previously at the university) or an external applicant.
- Ability to help with field and laboratory work.
- Willingness to assist with research studies related to transition cow health and farm personnel training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare supplies for field work.
- Collect animal samples.
- Clean, put away and organize supplies after field trips.
- Laboratory processing and analysis of samples.
