The successful candidate will work on an observational and epidemiological study as part of the Vancouver Stroke Program (VSP). The candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team, performing research duties to support day-to-day operations of the research program. The candidate will work from the Diamond Health Care Centre at Vancouver General Hospital. As part of the Vancouver Stroke Program, the candidate will work under the general direction of the study’s Principal Investigator. The responsibilities of this job will involve both administrative and research-related tasks. The candidate will gain an in-depth understanding of medical and research environments, which are an integral part of the health care field. They will work alongside clinical and research teams to facilitate stroke-related research. There are daily interactions with clinicians, patients, family members, and research staff. The setting is fast-paced and work activities are mostly situated within the Stroke Prevention Clinic. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
