About The Position

Research Assistant Professor functions as a faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism; maintains an active research program in cardiac and skeletal muscle signaling/physiology; develops research proposals; participates in collaborative research programs; publishes in scientific literature; instruction of undergraduate, healthcare professional and graduate students; presents at professional meetings.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in biology, physiology or related field required.
  • Requires successful completion of a background check.
  • Selected candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen
