About The Position
The College of IST Cyber Security Lab has a wage payroll position open for a summer research assistant. This role focuses on the intersection of SOC (security operation center) benchmark development and agentic AI. The researcher will extend an existing agentic AI system (OpenClaw-based) to synthesize various data types (file system snapshots, network traffic captures, and operating system logs) that simulate a ransomware attack incident scenario. The position requires adequate experience in both SOC incident response and agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities
- Extend the OpenClaw-based agentic AI system to synthesize file system snapshots, network traffic captures, and operating system logs that reflect a ransomware attack incident scenario.
- Conduct experiments to validate the agentic AI systems.
- Write a technical report.
