About The Position
Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Mechanical Engineering is searching for a Research Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by assisting with the collection and analysis of data using biomedical instrumentation and signal processing.
Requirements
- High school degree required.
- Successful background check
Nice To Haves
- Vocational Trade or Technical School preferred
- 0-1 years of experience: Basic understanding of statistics, word processing, spreadsheets, and technical writing
- Entry level research experience, including basic understanding of instrumentation and software
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, including biomedical instrumentation
- Assist with data analysis, including signal processing
- Assist with literature reviews, including summarizing key papers
- Other duties as assigned.
