JOB TITLE: Research Assistant – Forage Agronomy JOB PURPOSE: Assist with forage crop research in the Department of Plant Sciences. Provide technical and logistical support for multiple research projects conducted by the Forage Agronomy Lab.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a University of Wyoming degree program.
- Demonstrated strong work ethics and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn and use new tools and equipment for research.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in accordance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Comfortable working in outdoor and greenhouse environments.
Nice To Haves
- Actively pursuing a degree in Plant Sciences, Botany, Range Management, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with field, greenhouse, and laboratory research activities.
- Assist with plant and soil sample processing.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
