About The Position

The Research Associate will report to the Director of Research Operations and will provide research and market intelligence support to our Managing Directors, Principals and Associates across the US. Robert Half Executive Search works with executive management in all position functions and industry sectors. The research department is tasked with finding potential candidates for our Associates to recruit as well as providing market intelligence data that facilitates the successful execution of each search project.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree desired
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to think creatively
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a team of search professionals
Proficient verbal and written communication
Strong project, time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in managing data and data systems
Strong research skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Nice To Haves

Research experience or experience in a staffing or search firm is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct research on specific industries and positions for each search and develop a plan to identify prospective candidates and specific titles, industries and companies to pursue
Identify prospective candidates and provide name generation throughout the life of each search project
Collaborate with Managing Directors, Principals and Associates throughout each search by providing market intelligence to develop further strategies on specific industry sectors and range of relevant position titles
Research contact information for potential candidates to provide to Principals and Associates for outreach
Maintain candidate and company information in our proprietary database
Interact with all members of the research team as well as Executive Search professionals across the US to work toward the successful execution of each search
