About The Position

IMC’s 10-week summer internship offers the opportunity to experience work as a Research Analyst through training and project work. Interns receive support from a dedicated mentor for their work and professional development, as well as professional development sessions and social activities with other interns and employees. The program includes training in options theory and core principles of financial markets. Interns who meet performance expectations may have the opportunity to secure a full-time Research Analyst position after the program. The internship must begin on June 7, 2027. The listed base salary is $165,000; the description notes that the compensation package includes accommodations. Requirements

Be a current student at a university in the United States or Canada, pursuing an Economics, Business, Finance, or related degree, and graduating between September 2027 and July 2028.
Have strong analytical skills and an interest in solving complex problems.
Thrive and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Be willing to ask questions, take responsibility, and learn from experience.
Be a team player with a proactive mindset.
Have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Have a strong interest in financial markets.
Be able to start the internship on June 7, 2027.

Nice To Haves

Programming experience in Python is preferred but not required.
