About The Position

IMC's 10-week summer internship offers students the opportunity to experience work as a Research Analyst through training and project work. Interns receive support from a dedicated mentor, including feedback and guidance for their work and professional development. The program includes training in options theory and core financial-market principles, professional development sessions, and events with the intern cohort and current employees. Interns who meet performance expectations may have the opportunity to secure a full-time Research Analyst position at the end of the program. The internship includes accommodations and a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

Be a current student at a university in the United States or Canada, graduating between September 2027 and July 2028.
Be pursuing an Economics, Business, Finance, or related degree.
Have strong analytical skills and an interest in solving complex problems.
Thrive and be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Be willing to ask questions, take responsibility, and learn from experience.
Be a team player with a proactive mindset.
Have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Have a strong interest in financial markets.
Be able to start the internship on June 7, 2027.

Nice To Haves

Programming experience in Python.
