About The Position

Mustafa Shah will carry out computational simulations for energy storage systems using machine learning and molecular dynamics. He will be carrying out atomistic and continuum level calculations to understand discharge and charge processes in batteries that are being studied experimentally. The calculations will be done on properties and processes of various solid-state electrolytes and cathode materials together or separately. All of his work will be done on the computer; he will not be doing any lab work.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution.
  • Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months.
  • Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
  • Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
  • Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Candidates may be required to complete pre-employment drug testing based on appointment length.
  • Must complete a satisfactory background check.
