About The Position
The Senior Financial Analyst role is responsible for comprehensive financial planning and analysis, including developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts, analyzing financial data, and communicating business results and trends to management. The position supports financial controlling by assisting with period closing activities, preparing periodic reporting, and implementing effective financial controls. Key responsibilities also include supply chain and inventory analysis, demand forecasting, variance analysis, and providing financial oversight for inventory control. The analyst will collaborate with other departments to improve operational processes and systems, and manage ad hoc financial and business analytics for various projects. The role requires adherence to the Company's ethical and legal standards.
Requirements

- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability communicate complex technical content to a range of audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills to work effectively in a cross functional organization and with all levels of employees, customers, and third parties.
- Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive information and protect Company proprietary information in an appropriate manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

- Prior Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Prior Internal or External Audit.
- Prior Financial or Business analysis experience.
- Experience working with SAP, Datasphere, OneStream systems.
Responsibilities
- Work with the business to help develop and maintain the budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze data, provide input and communicate business results, trends and outlooks concisely to various levels of management.
- Support Corporate Controller with period closing activities.
- Prepare, analyze and summarize periodic reporting including ledger closing and accruals.
- Assist with identifying and implementing effective financial controls.
- Analyze procurement and inventory data, forecast demand, and performs variance analysis on consumption versus budget.
- Provides financial oversight for physical and cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and helps resolve variances to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Work with other departments – Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering - to understand and develop business processes and systems to improve and strengthen operational activities.
- Manage the development, preparation, and communication of ad hoc financial and business analytics on various projects as needed.
