About The Position

The Research Assistant position will support essential research activities of Dr. Eric Roberts and faculty collaborators at the Perelman School of Medicine across multiple stages of the research process. Responsibilities will include assisting with grant applications (e.g., literature reviews, preparing official documents, reference management), supporting manuscript preparation and regulatory processes (such as data use agreement approvals), and cleaning and organizing public datasets for analysis. The role also involves coordinating project activities, including scheduling meetings with research team members and maintaining project organization. Activities under this position will be supervised by Dr. Eric Roberts. The ideal candidate will have some experience with basic data analysis along with strong organizational and communication skills. This position has funding for 1 year and is expected to end after that funding is exhausted.

Requirements

  • High School Grad/GE Degree, Bachelor of Science, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Some experience with basic data analysis
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities
