About The Position

This is an exciting growth role for someone who is organized, proactive, and ready to take ownership of the resale category from purchase order to customer delivery. The ideal candidate enjoys coordinating moving pieces, solving problems, working with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring customers receive clear answers, reliable ETAs, and a smooth experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or product management role.
  • 3+ years' vendor relations and contract negotiation.
  • Previous demonstrable / autonomous experience with researching, qualifying and selecting vendors or products for a project.
  • Experience working within an ERP system (SAP or Microsoft AX is preferred).
  • Bilingualism (French/English) — Due to frequent communication with employees in Quebec, Ontario and the United States.
  • An exceptional attention to detail is a must in this role.
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball is a major asset.
  • A strong analytical mindset and comfort with numbers will help you shine in this role.
  • A problem-solver mentality is strongly appreciated.
  • You communicate clearly, whether by email, in a meeting, or mid-negotiation with a vendor.

Responsibilities

  • Place and manage purchase orders for resale vendors, ensuring accuracy, timing, and cost compliance.
  • Replenish inventory through MRP and support forward buys for seasonal or long lead-time products.
  • Track open purchase orders, follow up with vendors, and maintain reliable ETAs for backordered items.
  • Recover vendor credits, resolve invoice discrepancies, and support warranty or product claims with suppliers.
  • Build strong vendor relationships by staying organized, following through, and keeping communication clear.
  • Coordinate inbound freight, direct deliveries, drop shipments, and client pick-ups directly at vendor locations.
  • Work with vendors, logistics, Customer Service, Sales, and internal teams to ensure orders move smoothly from supplier to customer.
  • Ensure shipment documentation is complete, accurate, and shared with the right stakeholders.
  • Respond to availability and ETA inquiries with clear, timely, and reliable updates.
  • Take initiative to resolve issues quickly and keep resale orders moving without unnecessary delays.
  • Monitor resale inventory levels, aging, supplier lead times, and product availability across distribution centers.
  • Coordinate replenishment, transfers, and inventory movements to support customer demand and reduce risk.
  • Take instruction from Planning to anticipate seasonality, shelf-life constraints, and other supply risks.
  • Support the annual Booking Program by coordinating customer commitments, order loads, supplier allocations, and terms.
  • Support new vendor and product onboarding, including product setup, SKU creation, purchasing parameters, and unit conversions.
  • Maintain vendor costs, purchasing agreements, trade agreements, and product master data accurately.
  • Collaborate with Planning and ERP teams to improve data integrity and clarify ownership of system parameters.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve follow-up, reduce errors, and strengthen the resale process.
  • Grow into a stronger category owner by learning the full resale cycle, from sourcing and purchasing to logistics, claims, and customer support.
