About The Position
Ford Energy, a new subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, is focused on accelerating U.S. energy independence by designing, manufacturing, and servicing grid-scale and commercial battery energy storage systems (BESS). This role involves authoring and maintaining the system and component-level technical requirements and their corresponding validation test methods, which are crucial for Failure Mode Avoidance, certification, and Factory Acceptance Testing. - Author and maintain system and component-level technical requirements.
- Author and maintain validation test methods corresponding to requirements.
- Ensure requirements and test methods form the backbone of Ford Energy's quality V-Model.
- Facilitate the integrated function of Failure Mode Avoidance, certification, and Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Collaborate closely with nearly every other engineering discipline in the organization.
