The Methods Engineer develops and maintains manufacturing methods and documentation for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), supporting efficient, consistent production that meets customer quality requirements. The role creates and updates internal documentation, including bills of materials, configuration-control records, and work instructions, and supports production and process engineering with documentation updates. The engineer also assists with customer documentation reviews, audits, calls, and visits; provides design-for-manufacturability support; and works directly with production-floor associates to address assembly, process, and technical issues and improve production documentation. The position applies engineering principles to evaluate product designs and manufacturing processes, identify improvement opportunities, analyze yield and statistical process-control data, and recommend corrective actions. It reviews assembly processes and defines and implements manufacturing tooling, supports equipment programming, setup, and maintenance procedures, implements engineering and manufacturing change notices, and performs contract reviews for compliance with customer requirements. The engineer prepares and executes project plans, supports other methods engineers, and helps ensure production departments comply with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Corrective-action work includes RCCA and 8D. A BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering—or equivalent experience—is required. The role requires the ability to interpret customer documentation, strong computer and organizational skills, cross-functional communication, and familiarity with basic hand tools and machine-shop equipment. PCBA engineering experience and knowledge of industry and military standards are preferred; Oracle MRP, SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software, and hands-on mechanical assembly skills are listed as pluses. The employee must comply with TTM export-control policies and applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements. The posting describes benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); flexible spending and health savings accounts; accident and disability benefits; life insurance; paid vacation; and paid holidays. Benefits are available on the first of the month following the date of hire.
