About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Requirements Analyst to join their Systems & Business Integration Consulting team. This role involves gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into functional and technical specifications for development teams. The analyst will conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping, analyze current business processes to identify improvements, and create/maintain requirement specifications, user stories, and traceability matrices. Collaboration with project managers, developers, testers, and business teams is crucial to ensure alignment on scope and priorities. The position also supports solution design by clarifying requirements, participates in testing activities (reviewing test cases, validating functionality, supporting UAT), and manages requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle. Travel is required up to 10%.

Requirements

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Bachelor's degree
• THREE (3) or more years gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements, workflows or processes including using requirements management tools including but not limited to JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, ReqIF, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
• Experience in business process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML).
• Exposure to system architecture or data architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of user experience practices or involvement in user story mapping.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Experience working as a business analyst, systems analyst, requirements analyst, or similar role.
• Proficiency in documenting business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, communicate with stakeholders, and build consensus.
• Understanding of SDLC, system design principles, and Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver clear documentation under tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Familiarity with testing approaches, QA processes, or writing test cases.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA, or Agile-related credentials (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner).
• Experience with SQL or basic data analysis for validating system outputs.
• Prior experience working in government
