About The Position

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Requirements Analyst to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - This position is located at Headquarters SOCOM on MacDill AFB, FL. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. We are seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst to join our IT team. This position supports the ServiceNow Platform Support Team by gathering and documenting requirements for new service requests. The Journeyman Requirements Analyst works under the guidance of the assigned lead to interpreting and formalizing ambiguous requests from various Components and TSOCs as well as various enterprise stakeholders into clear, actionable IT requirements. The analyst will support the ServiceNow Platform Support Team enables an assessment of the attainment of technical performance, specifications, and system maturity to determine whether systems are operationally effective, suitable, and survivable for intended use, and hardware/software/system/services from various Components and TSOCs. These requests are often not clearly articulated, requiring a diligent and detail-oriented approach. Requirements Analysts work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.

Requirements

Experience as a Requirements Analyst
Experience supporting a ServiceNow Platform Support Team
Ability to interpret and formalize ambiguous requests into clear, actionable IT requirements
Detail-oriented approach

Responsibilities

Assist with requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and surveys for new services, software, and hardware.
Help translate initial, and often ambiguous, requests into clear, detailed requirements specifications, user stories, and functional documents.
Manage and document changes to baseline requirements through a formal change control process.
Act as a liaison between end-users and the technical team to ensure business needs are effectively communicated.
Assist in analyzing current business processes and workflows to ensure changes align with technical capabilities.
Represent the ServiceNow Platform Support Team at the USSOCOM ServiceNow Governance Review Board meetings.
Capture and relay incoming change requests to the ServiceNow Platform team, identifying those that require formal technical review.
Report back to the Board on the feasibility, estimated timeframe, and return on investment (ROI) of each proposed change to the platform.
Assist in preparing for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by helping to set up the test environment and preparing test data.
Help create detailed UAT test cases and test scripts based on identified business requirements.
Execute UAT test scripts under supervision, covering functional and end-to-end scenarios.
Accurately log defects found during testing, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
Ensure new service requests are accurately captured and meet the articulated business needs of stakeholders.
Produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation of requirements and test results.
Support the efficient progression of change requests from initial request to final implementation.
Ability to work shifts and weekends as required.
