About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the manager and in collaboration with senior team members, the Representative, Trade Promotions performs detailed work of an analytical and customer-service nature to clients on day-to-day coupon settlement operations. Strategically handles retailer customer data with an analytical viewpoint and understands how to provide proactive and meaningful analysis. Responsible for growing our relationships with Inmar’s priority clients by communicating effectively and with a sales viewpoint. Work closely with the Client Service Manager on research projects, cross-training, and data analysis initiatives. Duties include live answering of 800 lines as well as working email retailer inquiries and verification of retail businesses for payment while maintaining accurate and updated submitter information files and records.

Responsibilities

  • Answer live 800 line calls for designated clients and handling appropriately by collecting and analyzing data in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Receive and respond to email requests and inquiries by collecting and analyzing data to respond and bring resolution
  • Add new coupon submitters to the Submitter Master File and make appropriate payment disposition based on research and information available.
  • Complete override requests (from CPG manufacturer) as requested.
  • Research returned mail by utilizing all resources available and make updates/changes to database as necessary
  • Interact with Clients, Retailers, Processing Plants and our 3rd Party vendors, TOG, as needed to resolve inquiries.
  • Perform special projects as required to maintain assigned accounts (for example, conversions, de-conversions, research projects)
  • Identify and troubleshoot client problems, educate and train clients on services and on industry in general (Retail Settlement and general industry policies and procedures)
  • Research and reconcile manufacturers’ chargeback payment denials by contacting manufacturer/agent accounts receivable department personnel.
  • Relays pertinent client account information to others such as Sales, Client Services and Senior management as needed.
  • Responsible for oral and written communication on client-related matters to resolve issues, develop procedures and establish guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive files and records for all assigned accounts including, customer information sheets, address labels, special handling instructions and correspondence.
  • Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks
