About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining and developing the CPG business in the assigned territory, maximizing the potential for CPG Brands, and achieving or exceeding annual sales and service objectives. The position involves building strong professional relationships with customers and brand influencers, enhancing the fitting experience through scheduled fit days, and recruiting/supervising support personnel. The role also requires regular communication with the Director of Sales (DOS) regarding business conditions and competitive practices, attending industry events, and submitting customer orders by established deadlines. A commitment to supporting company policies, initiatives, and environmental sustainability programs is essential.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ sales experience in the golf industry or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for golf.
  • Industry knowledge in golf club components as well as fitting procedures and technologies (such as launch monitors, shafts, etc.)
  • Spoken and written language: English
  • Fashion sense knowledge of the golf industry essential.
  • Results driven with the ability to take initiative and influence all levels internally and externally.
  • Proven PC and computer applications skills, with the ability to develop and present ideas effectively.
  • Proven high level organization skills along with the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • PGA of Canada Class-A Professional preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop the CPG business in the assigned territory at all potential customer locations.
  • Develop the strategic account sales plan that maximizes the potential for the CPG Brands in the territory.
  • Ensure the territory sales and service objectives as set out annually are achieved or exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of professional relationships with the customers and brand influencers in the territory.
  • Enhance overall fitting experience in assigned territory through scheduled fit days.
  • Recruit demo and technical representatives with the guidelines and budgets established by the Company.
  • Supervise and direct the support personnel as prescribed by CPG.
  • Communicate oral or written reports as requested by the DOS or CPG.
  • Regularly advise the DOS or the Company of business conditions in the territory including but not limited to information on competitive practices.
  • Call on each Golf Town outlet in the territory with a minimum call frequency as established by the DOS.
  • Attend all functions and events as directed by CPG in the promotion of the business.
  • Attend all Sales meetings and Trade shows as directed by the DOS.
  • Submit all customer orders in a format as set out by the Company and with the deadlines as established by the DOS.
  • Support all company policies and initiatives and in particular the Company’s commitment to environmental sustainability programs it undertakes Globally, Regionally and locally.
