About The Position

Supports the Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) team in the Latin America region by coordinating Public Relations and Marketing activities. The role requires ensuring a good relationship with partners such as celebrities, influencers, press, and agencies to develop projects and collaborative content productions. This position also supports Marketing and Public Relations Managers with special projects in Orlando and Hollywood.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or advertising.
  • 3+ years experience in marketing, communication, public relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced/fluent English.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
  • Time management, organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail as well as follow-through ability, strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude: collaboration and communication.
  • Heavy user of social media.
  • Experience working in cross-functional groups, across multiple countries.

Nice To Haves

  • Portuguese and Spanish is preferred.
  • Previous Entertainment and Travel/tourism experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and oversees plans and tactics to reach key strategic audiences as implemented by PR management.
  • Supports the development and implementation of yearly marketing plans and tactics.
  • Monitors and tracks all initiatives and tactics implemented by the organization and reports coverage/tactical feedback.
  • Ensures all efforts integrate with LatAm goals, objectives, and specific tactics to achieve consistent messaging.
  • Welcomes top-tier celebrities and influencers upon arrival to the UDX Orlando parks, including production of welcome kits, ticket retrieval, and photos.
  • Participates in weekly meetings representing the PR/Marketing teams with Orlando team members from other areas and sends an email with a summary of discussions and action topics.
  • Supports in-loco projects such as recordings for TV shows, productions, press trips, and events (e.g., FC Series, Mardi Gras, Holidays).
  • Strengthens relationships with key partners based in Florida, such as Visit Florida, Visit Orlando, Experience Kissimmee, Visit California, LTCB, as well as trade partners related to content creators, press, and celebrities.
  • Continuously evaluates opportunities for new partners and trends, monitoring competition activities.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
