Ensure patients are enrolled in an appropriate plan of Health Care Coverage by assisting patients in choosing a healthcare plan by evaluating their current healthcare needs, income level, age and immigration status.

Requirements

• Ability to problem solve using the information provided by patients.

Nice To Haves

• ACA Certification for Certified Application Counselor preferred.
• Experience assisting with the NJ Family Care application.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients in choosing a healthcare plan by evaluating their current healthcare needs, income level, age and immigration status.
• Work with the Outpatient Case Managers to assist with patient's needs.
• Work with the Community Medicine Outpatient Account Reps to assist with insurance applications.
