About The Position

This role serves as the first point of contact for the HR Services department, providing essential support in front desk operations, employee assistance, records management, administrative tasks, and onboarding processes. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact; greet and assist employees, applicants, and visitors
  • Answer and route calls, emails, and general HR inquiries
  • Scan, upload, file, and maintain employee records (paper and electronic)
  • Support digital recordkeeping and track HR documents (e.g., evaluations, disciplinary actions)
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with record retention standards
  • Prepare basic HR documents (forms, memos, letters)
  • Maintain front office organization, mail distribution, and supply inventory
  • Submit and follow up on work orders as needed
  • Assist with interview scheduling and orientation logistics (room setup, materials, folders)
  • Maintain onboarding supplies and provide backup support during sessions
  • Support recruiting efforts, including outreach events and candidate flow
  • Assist with employee event setup and breakdown
  • Update and post HR communications (flyers, postings)
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and HR systems for daily tasks
  • Support HR team with projects and additional duties as assigned
