About The Position

Serves as Hospital concierge while supporting the safety and security services to all patients, visitors and staff. Handles all telephone calls and walk-up requests for designated area. Supports programs of Guest Services to include facilitating guest transportation, maintaining wheelchairs stock in lobby and directing complaints/questions to appropriate personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 year general office, customer service or experience in a health care setting.
  • Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
  • Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
  • Basic computer skills and excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years general office or customer service-related experience.
  • Experience with basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephones and greets customers using customer service techniques to promote positive image of organization.

  • Monitors services and supplies for accuracy and effectiveness, maintaining reports and departmental documentation.
  • Assist with orientation of new volunteers.
